Marta Macho Stadler
UPV/EHU, Profesora AgregadaProfesora de la UPV/EHU y doctora en Matemáticas por la Universidad Claude Bernard de Lyon (Francia). Especialista en teoría geométrica de foliaciones y geometría no conmutativa. Interesada en la divulgación de la ciencia, participa desde hace años en diversas actividades en centros culturales o de enseñanza. Colabora en diferentes blogs, como ZTFNews.org o Cuaderno de Cultura Científica (UPV/EHU), entre otros. Es editora del blog de la Cátedra de Cultura Científica de la UPV/EHU "Mujeres con ciencia". Recibió el Premio igUAldad 2015 de la Universidad de Alicante. En octubre de 2015 se la ha concedido una de las Medallas de la RSME en su primera edición, ‘por su labor de divulgación de las matemáticas, por su compromiso con la igualdad y por tender puentes entre los profesores de matemáticas de diferentes niveles educativos.’ Ha recibido el Premio Emakunde 2016.

Dr Roberto Barra-Chicote is a Senior Speech Scientist in Amazon Cambridge. He has over 15 years in the speech field and Machine Learning, particularly focused on text-to-speech and emotional speech modelling. He was previously an Assistant Professor at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in Spain (Grupo de Tecnología del Habla). Since he joined Amazon Alexa in 2015 he has been working with the TTS-Research team to bring the state-of-the-art in neural technologies in TTS for AWS Polly and Alexa users.

Eneko Agirre

Eneko Agirre is Professor at the University of the Basque Country, head of the IXA Natural Language Processing group and member of the HiTZ reseach center. His research focuses on lexical and computational semantics, with applications in information retrieval and machine translation. He has produced more than 100 peer-reviewed articles. He has been president of the ACL SIGLEX, member of the editorial board of Computational Linguistics, and has received two Google research awards. He is currently an action editor of the TACL journal.
